Before You Write to Us

We read every message that reaches our inbox, and a little context helps us reply faster and more usefully. If you are writing about a specific review, reading list or author feature, include the title of the piece or the book you have in mind. That way we can look at exactly what you saw rather than guessing.

What we're happy to hear about

• Corrections: if you spot a misspelled name, a wrong publication detail or a broken link, please tell us. We would rather fix a mistake than leave it standing.
• Reading suggestions: many of our favourite discoveries come from readers. If a book changed how you think, or deserves more attention than it gets, we'd love to know why.
• Questions about a recommendation: unsure whether a novel suits a younger reader, a book group or a difficult week? Ask, and we'll share what we know.
• Ideas for features: an author you'd like us to introduce, a theme for a list, or a reading habit you'd like explored.

A few things to keep in mind

Booksful is an independent reading site. We don't sell books, handle orders or arrange events, so questions about deliveries, refunds or tickets are best sent to the retailer, publisher or venue involved. For authors and publishers: we can't promise coverage for every title we hear about, but we do look at pitches with genuine interest, especially when they explain who the book is for.

Replies can take a few days, particularly during busy periods. If your question is general, you might find an answer sooner by browsing our book reviews or the reading lists, or by using the search page to look up a title or author.
